American Heart Association (AHA) Visit 4/8/20 Mission Bay

We are excited to host a visit from Glenn Dillon, PhD, Director of Research for the American Heart Association (AHA) on April 8th in the UCSF CVRI Conference Room on the Mission Bay campus from 11 am to 2pm. (A light lunch will be served.)

AHA has made some changes to its portfolio in recent years, and has broadened areas of research interest. Examples are brain health beyond stroke (such as dementia/cognitive decline), and, through our Institute for Precision Cardiovascular Medicine, opportunities in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The main goal of Dr. Dillon’s visit is to raise awareness of some these changes and the resulting opportunities for investigators. He is also available for 10-15 min-slot 1:1 meetings with individual faculty, deans, or administrators.

Please contact Gretchen Kiser (at [email protected]), if you would like to meet with Dr. Dillon one-on-one.
